For Music
For musicians, creatives, and new studio owners, the MTRX II base unit possesses everything you need in a single 2U chassis. As previously mentioned, it comes stock with 64 channels of DigiLink I/O, 256 channels of Dante I/O, 64 channels of MADI I/O, Word Clock I/O, and 128 channels of SPQ Speaker Processing. That’s enough I/O to accommodate most music ensembles that walk through a studio’s doorway.
Option 2: Stereo Mixing

And if you run out of I/O, one option card slot is still open to expand further.
MTRX II Option Cards
Pro Tools | MTRX II not only comes with 64 channels of built-in DigiLink I/O, 256 channels of Dante, and 64 channels of MADI, it’s fully modular to accommodate any ADR, Foley, sound design, re-recording, or mixing session. Configure its eight card slots with all the I/O you need—the same option cards as MTRX, plus a new Thunderbolt 3 option—replacing multiple I/O, routing, and monitor control interfaces.
