The MTRX 64-Channel IP Audio Dante Module is a small card that snaps into a slot on the Pro Tools | MTRX motherboard. It lets you add up to 64-channels of low-latency digital audio to the Pro Tools | MTRX base unit. Dante is an extremely fast, low-latency device, with 64 channels of 24-bit/48kHz audio taking up only 74Mbit/sec on a single network port, and a default latency of 1ms.

• Adds Dante audio networking capabilities to the Pro Tools | MTRX base unit

With Dante, you could run up to 512 24-bit/48kHz audio channels on a single Gigabit network port. You can add as many audio channels to a network as you want, simply by adding more MTRX or other Dante-equipped interfaces. Adding new devices to a Dante network is a breeze, since it features automatic device discovery and assigns easily recognized device names. Dante can use existing network infrastructure to send and receive audio in a multi-room facility
