After years of requests, Auratone is proud to announce the 5C Active Super Sound Cube. The same timeless design with a US made speaker, now with an integrated amplifier using an enclosure with the dimensions of the passive 5C.

The mono amplifier is designed and built in Europe in collaboration with the famous hardware manufacturer Bettermaker. A careful R&D process has been done to maintain the original characteristics fo the 5C, utilizing the same amplifier design from the NAMM TEC Award winning Auratone A2-30 amplifier.

The 5C, which become famous in the 1970’s & 80’s and has been used in countless major recording studios worldwide, is still the undisputed industry standard for referencing. Now on the 50th anniversary of the 5C, the active model will help continue its legacy.
