Description
Meet The Amari
The Amari is a mastering-grade AD/DA converter that provides beautiful conversion that maintains the integrity of your sound, without ever losing any detail. Equipped with 24-bit 384 kHz conversion and DSD256 support, it was made with the most professional audio standards. Using top of the line engineering, Amari even includes an elegant touch screen display, as well as accompanying software/control panel. With quality able to please mastering engineers, mixing engineers, and audiophiles alike, the pristine conversion offers a high-quality sound any professional studio deserves.
The Amari In One Take
- Constructed of machined metal
- Stereo Outputs (XLR/TRS).
- Stereo inputs (XLR/RCA).
- Touchscreen Display.
- 138dB of dynamic range DA conversion.
- 128dB of dynamic range AD conversion.
- Wall wart power supply.
- Two independent headphone outputs.
- External world clock input.
- Atomic 10M clock input.
Headphone Outputs
The two high powered headphone outputs (XLR) feature individual volume controls that cap at 20dBu, as well as a digital trim and even selectable output impedance. The impedance can be set anywhere from -4.6 to 85.3 Ohm in a 17 control step knob, which allows one to find the sound best matched for a specific pair of headphones, known as their headphone membrane weight compensation. Installed is a high-fidelity headphone driver chip which offers a fully differential input per amplifier, and is a dual amp design for the best performance possible, as well making each headphone signal completely independent from one another.
Clocking
Antelope’s trademark 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) jitter management technology is equipped with 384 kHz, 24-bit conversion for extremely accurate sampling of any signal. This technology was originally designed and introduced in Antelope Audio’s fourth generation. Also equipped is an external clock input, allowing for ultimate flexibility.
