Detailed Analog Circuitry
The fully analog circuitry features four THAT 2181 VCAs and Carnhill transformers which can be switched on in IRON mode for extra richness and tone. Additionally, the proprietary THD knob adds extra color and saturation which can be dialed in to be subtle or extreme. On top of that, an external sidechain and flexible sidechain filter are included for each channel with 3 high pass filters at 60, 90, and 150Hz, along with two tilt filters for ultimate control – especially in the Mid-Side or Dual-Mono modes! Round it out with a mix knob for parallel compression, detailed metering, and five ratio settings, and it quickly becomes clear that the ngBusComp is a force to be reckoned with for any style.
