The Neve 8424 is a British designed and manufactured analog mixing and recording console that builds upon Neve’s sixty years of technical heritage and highly revered analog circuit design. The Neve 8424 console provides a centralized platform with unparalleled connectivity, facilitating an ergonomic link between the linear analog processing world of outboard gear, analog synths and instruments, to the digital world of DAW workflow, software plugins, and session recall.

Legendary Neve Console Sound, Small Format

With many possible routing paths and a combination of simple XLR/TRS Jack inputs and outputs and D-Type connectors, the 8424 can be easily installed into any modern studio, production suite, writing room, or educational facility. The 8424 contains the elements to record, mix, monitor, and master music efficiently, allowing artists, producers, and engineers to remain creative in the studio.

The 8424 features Classic Neve Marinair® transformers on the Stereo Mix bus, the Stereo Cue bus, and the AFL bus for high-headroom voltage mixing, delivering iconic Neve 80-series sound. The auxiliary sends, reverb returns, group outputs, and PFL bus feature virtual earth bus technology just like the Neve Genesys and the Neve 88R consoles.

The 8424 has an onboard Recall system which further integrates the console into the modern hybrid studio workflow. This unique feature enables this pure analog console to save, load, and recall all settings, faders and pot positions for on a session by session basis.

In any configuration, the 8424 console offers an excellent studio control surface with comprehensive monitoring and signal routing capabilities. This eliminates the typical collection of awkwardly interfaced devices and puts a proper console back in the heart of the studio.
