Vintage Diode Bridge Compression in 1RU

The Heritage Audio Successor Stereo Bus Compressor brings the voluminous character of discrete Class-A technology to the process of bus compression. Bringing together vintage diode bridge-based gain reduction and Carnhill transformer-coupled input and output, Successor achieves a Class A ‘73 type classic sound quality. At the same time, this new model features modern technology for a modern studio, like ultra-fast attack and releases, and complex sidechain filtering to hit contemporary sounds and new mixes.

Successor allows new room for new sounds, like stereo drum sounds, with old school familiarities, such as VCA-style mix busses, only now with more warmth and fatness.

Successor features a configurable sidechain filter with different high pass or mid emphasis filters, stepped adjustable ratio, attack, and release, an external sidechain for external trigger signal or internal processing, and fully adjustable threshold and blend dials.
