Automated Processes Inc. API proudly announces the release of its next new product, the 3122V
2-Channel Microphone Preamp. The new 3122V provides 2 channels of API’s signature analog sound and
features the same legendary circuit design found in the 3124V and 3124MV, as well as the 312, 512V, and
512c mic preamps.
“The 3122V fills an important role between the best-selling 4-channel 3124V and the individual API preamps
that can be used in a lunchbox or a 500V chassis,” said API President Larry Droppa. “It’s purposely designed
for those who require a pair of API mic pres with an expanded feature set, at an attractive price.”
In addition to the familiar combination of 2520 Op-Amps and proprietary output transformers that give all API
mic preamps that punch and massive headroom, the 3122V also includes front and rear panel XLR and 1⁄4”
inputs (conveniently selectable on the faceplate), a fixed-frequency HP filter, GAIN, and the popular Variable
Output Level control, as well as 48V, POL, and PAD. Rounding out the expansive feature set are the 3:1
Output Transformer Tap and 2 stunning analog VU meters with a separate peak LED.
“Part of the API culture is to listen carefully to our knowledgeable user base in order to determine which new products we should consider offering. Because we’ve had consistent requests for a two-channel, 312-based rackmount solution, we’re convinced the timing is perfect to add the new 3122V to API’s classic lineup of award-winning analog gear,” added Managing Director Gordon Smart.
Like all API products, the 3122V features API’s industry-exclusive Five Year Parts, One Year Factory Service Warranty. For more information, please visit apiaudio.com.
